Super Schools 61 2026-2027 Application

GENYOUth—a national nonprofit focused on student health and wellness—is proud to partner with the Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee, led by the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission, to provide $5,000 in nutrition and physical activity equipment grants to schools in your community. Our Super Schools initiative is here to help you increase access to nutritious school meals and boost student physical activity through evidence-based, easy-to-implement programs.

How to Apply

  • To start or access your application, select your school from the list below—or select 'Link to another school or organization' ZIP code, click the Enter button, and select your school from the drop-down list—then click the Continue button to create the application.
  • Complete all 3 tabs of the application and submit by midnight EDT on August 26, 2026.
  • To be sure your data are saving, be sure to click the Save button at the bottom of each page.
  • If desired, you can close the window after saving and return later to complete your application.

Terms and Conditions

  • To be eligible to receive grant funding, your school must:
    • be located in the state of California, and 
    • participate in the National School Lunch Program; additional consideration will be given to schools that also participate in the National School Breakfast Program.
  • Schools will be evaluated to receive equipment grants based on a variety of factors, including the strength of the program, enrollment, and Free and Reduced rate.
  • All applications submitted by midnight EDT on August 19, 2026, will be reviewed, and approvals/notifications will be made in September 2026.
  • Awards are expected to be delivered in fall 2026. Once delivered, the district/school will assume ownership of the equipment and is responsible for all maintenance and future disposal, as needed.
  • Grantees are expected to implement the service model and equipment no later than January 31, 2027.
